How can i fix one of my keys of my laptop?
ok so i just noticed that the controll button is gne off my keyboard nd i cnt find it awat can i do shu di get it off another key off another keyboard and put it on wif celotape
On my laptop, on the dvd drive it says dvd+rewritable what does that mean?
i want to know if i can BURN doulble layer dvds , and on the side of my dvd drive it says RW and under that it say dvd rewritable then on the right of that it says dvd multi recorder , and on the other side it says compact disc rewritable

k soo ive been looking around and have found some good dell laptops but ive heard mixed reviews on that brand im only 13 and just need the computer basically for internet and microsoft word stuff and photo and music i dont need it for gaming. i would like one with a good quality speaker and a webcam and about a 15.6 inch screen any help would be appreciated thanx < 3

ok so i have a compaq laptop i turn it on and you cansee the hardrive workin and everythin works but the screen it went black all of a sudden couple of weeks ago.. last time i was outside in the sun i turned it on and i could c the log in screen its as if the screen light doesnt work anyone know how i can fix it myself or what i need to get to fix it??it has windows vista bought it like 6months ago

I am wanting to sell my laptop but how much should I ask for?
I am wanting to sell my used HP pavilion dv6000. But I am not sure how much should I ask for it works just fine but it will not charge. I spent $100 for it to be fix 3 months ago but messed up again last week. I bought it for $400 a year ago.I was think of selling it for around 200 to 150.
How can I tell if laptop still has a blue ray drive?
I was given a laptop that had a blue ray dvd drive sticker says . The person who had it before, may have swapped the drive out. How can I tell if its a blue ray drive? The laptop was reformatted, operating system vista ultimate. When I put a blue ray movie it only opens it as files. Does not seem to play back up dvd but does play original dvd movies. I updated drivers to see if drive would see blue ray discs but no luck. Drive shows up as DVD RW Drive G when a blue ray movie is in the drive it shows up like DVD RW Drive G LOGICAL VOLUME ID. Under the drive properties it says MATSHITA BD MLT UJ 220S ATA under Device Device type DVD CD ROM drives manufacture standard CD ROM drives Location Location 0 channel 0, Target 0, Lun 0

Help! my laptop wont turn on?
Okay so I was watching a movie and I thought the laptop was going on the screen saver but when I touched the touch pad to make it go back it wouldn't go back and then I pressed the enter key to see if it ill do anything but it didn't. And then I saw that all the nights went off on the front. And it just turned off. Now I can't turn it on. I took the battery out and waiited awhile to turn put it in and press the power key. But it still wouldn't turn on. And I noticded that when I press the power key then the light on the front side indicating to charging was blinking. But when I would stop pressing it would stop. It doesn't need to be charged. Its not indicating that it needs to and also it was fully charged when I was using it. Please help.I have a hp laptopIt doesn't turn on when I take the battery out and plug in the power cable.Nvm guys you were right the power cable wasn't plugged into the outlet my sister unplugged it. Thank you so much.
